- Do I need to book an appointment?
- No — just walk in during opening hours. For collections over £10,000 a quick phone call ahead is appreciated.
- What ID do I need to bring?
- Photo ID (passport or driving licence) and a recent utility bill or bank statement. This is a regulatory requirement for all UK bullion dealers.
- How is my gold tested?
- We use a state-of-the-art XRF analyser for non-destructive purity testing, plus trade-approved scales for weight — all done in front of you. You watch every step.
- Will I get cash or a bank transfer?
- Either. Cash for smaller transactions, instant Faster Payment bank transfer for larger ones.
- Do you pay more than 'cash for gold' shops?
